These terms govern your use of the ldgr mobile application and associated services ("Service"). By using ldgr, you agree to these terms.
ldgr is a shared expense tracking application that helps groups split costs, track debts, and settle payments. The Service includes expense management, group collaboration, receipt scanning, analytics, templates, plans, and related features available through the mobile application and API.
ldgr is a record-keeping tool. We do not process financial transactions, hold funds, or act as a payment intermediary. Payment links (PayPal, Revolut, etc.) redirect to third-party services, and we are not responsible for those transactions.
You must authenticate using Google or Apple sign-in to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate information during onboarding. You may not create accounts for the purpose of abusing the Service, its infrastructure, or other users.
You agree not to:
ldgr offers free and paid tiers (Pro, Supporter). Paid subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store. All purchases, billing, refunds, and subscription management are governed by the respective store's terms.
If a subscription lapses, features gated behind that tier will become inaccessible. Your data is never deleted due to subscription changes — templates may be paused, exclusive themes reverted, and attachment limits adjusted, but existing records remain intact.
You retain ownership of all content you create on ldgr, including expense descriptions, comments, and uploaded files. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your group members.
Expense data in shared groups is visible to all members of that group. When you add an expense, comment, or settlement to a group, other group members can view that information. Departed members retain read access to data created before their departure.
ldgr offers AI-powered receipt scanning using Google Gemini. When you scan a receipt:
MCP/API integrations allow third-party AI clients to access your data using scoped API keys you create. You are responsible for the security of your API keys and for any actions taken by connected AI clients.
We strive to keep ldgr available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance (indicated by maintenance mode in the app) or in response to security concerns.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service — including changing the pricing model, feature set, or discontinuing the Service entirely — at our sole discretion with reasonable notice. In the event of a full discontinuation, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and make data export available during that period so you can retrieve your information.
ldgr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may close your account at any time through the app settings. Account closure requires all balances to be zero across all groups. Upon closure, your account is anonymized as described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable national law of the jurisdiction where the service operator is established.
